Delete your CLIFF account
How to delete
- Sign in on the web or in the app, open Settings, and choose Delete account under Advanced settings.
- Read what is deleted, tick the acknowledgement, type DELETE to confirm, then choose Delete account.
- You are signed out everywhere at once, and the account is deleted after 5 days. To cancel before then, sign in again and choose "Keep my account".
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted: your name, email, sign-in methods, profile image, saved stories, follows, viewing progress, notification settings and blocks. Comments you posted stay without your name.
Kept without your identity, as the law requires: purchase and coin records for 5 years, support and report records for 3 years, access logs for 3 months. A hash of your email is kept for 6 months to investigate abuse; it does not block a new sign-up.
Channel owners
If you are the only owner of a channel with published stories, unpublish them or add another owner first. The request is refused until then.
