On receiving a notice that meets the requirements, the Company immediately stops the work or episode and informs the claimant and the Creator.
A Creator may request restoration with evidence of a legitimate right.
Within 3 days of the request, the Company decides whether the right is legitimate. If it is, the Company sets a restoration date and informs the claimant. The date falls between the 7th and 14th day after the request was received.
If the claimant notifies the Company before that date that it has filed a lawsuit, the content is not restored.
A Creator may send a counter-notice that meets the legal requirements, including a statement under penalty of perjury and consent to jurisdiction. If the claimant does not report filing a lawsuit within 10 to 14 business days, the content is restored.
Only the earnings of the work under notice are held. If the work is restored or the notice is withdrawn, they are paid on the next payment date. If infringement is confirmed, they are handled under Article 11 of the Monetization and Payout Policy.
If three works or episodes are taken down on valid notices within 90 days, the Company may terminate the channel. Content that was restored is not counted.
A person who demands takedown or restoration without a legitimate right is liable for the damage that results.
