Article 1. Seller
The Company sells rentals to users and handles payment, refunds, consumer notices and transaction taxes. Creators do not sell directly to users on CLIFF.

The Creator decides whether each episode of the Creator's work is free or paid; new episodes start as free. The trailer episode is always free. For each paid episode, the Creator sets the price from the tiers below according to its length. The Creator may choose the tier for the episode's length or a lower one.
| Episode length | Highest price |
|---|---|
| Under 2 minutes | 30 Coins |
| 2 minutes to under 3 minutes | 50 Coins |
| 3 minutes to under 4 minutes | 70 Coins |
| 4 minutes or longer | 90 Coins |
Until price selection is available in Creator Center, paid episodes are offered at 70 Coins.
The Company may run promotions such as discounts. Settlement is based on the amount users actually paid.
The Creator receives 70% and the Company 30% of the allocation base. Earnings accrue in the month the rental is made.
If there are unavoidable reasons, such as changes in app store or payment provider fees or policies, changes in laws or taxes, or a major change in the revenue structure, the Company may adjust the revenue share and deductions. Any adjustment is announced in advance under Article 5 of the Creator Terms and applies only to rentals made on or after its effective date.
Allocation base = payment attributable to the work, excluding transaction taxes − app store fee (a fixed 30% of that payment) − refunds and chargebacks.
Example: if the payment for a 70-Coin rental is USD 0.70 excluding transaction taxes, the allocation base is USD 0.49 after the USD 0.21 store fee (30% of the payment), and the Creator's earnings are USD 0.343 (70% of the allocation base).
Coins spent on a rental are valued at the actual unit price, excluding transaction taxes, of the Coin pack the user bought. Paid Coins bought first are treated as spent first.
Amounts and currency conversion follow the app stores' settlement reports, and USD amounts are rounded to four decimal places.
"100 Coins = USD 1" is the reference for displaying prices and is separate from the unit price used for settlement.
Earnings for each month are totalled at the end of the month (UTC). The settlement statement is provided by the 15th of the following month, and payments start between the 21st and 26th of that month. Bank arrival dates depend on the payment method.
The minimum payout is USD 100. Amounts below it carry over to the next month and do not expire.
A Creator may ask to defer a payment and have it added to the next one.
When a Creator's earnings first reach USD 100, the Company asks the Creator to register identity verification, tax information and a payout account. The Creator may register earlier. This information is not needed to upload or sell.
Payouts to minors are made with a legal guardian's consent, and the method is explained at registration.
If payout information is missing or a transfer fails, the Company gives the reason and pays on the next payment date after the information is completed. Earnings are kept in the meantime, the Company reminds the Creator to register at least once a year, and earnings left unclaimed for a long time are handled as the law requires.
For international transfers, the Company pays the sending bank's fee and the Creator pays intermediary and receiving bank fees. The Company pays the fee for domestic transfers in Korean won.
Earnings are calculated in USD. For payouts in Korean won, the exchange rate applied by the Company's bank on the payment date is used.
The Company may withhold taxes as required by law and tax treaties. Creators submit the tax information the Company requests.
A refund or chargeback is linked to its original rental, and only that rental's share is reversed, once. Refunds of Coins that were not spent on rentals do not affect a work's earnings.
If reversals exceed a month's earnings, the excess is deducted only from future earnings and is not billed to the Creator. Article 11 takes precedence over this article.
If stolen payments, self-rentals or viewing manipulation are suspected, the Company holds only the related transaction amounts and gives the reason.
The Creator may respond within 30 days of notice. The Company reaches and announces a conclusion within 60 days of the hold, and may extend this once by giving the reason and a new deadline.
If no fraud is found, the held amount is paid on the next payment date. If fraud is confirmed, the amount is excluded, and any amount already paid is deducted from future earnings. For fraud confirmed as intentional on the Creator's part, the Company may claim repayment even if no earnings remain or the channel has been closed.
If a work is taken down for infringement or illegality and users get their Coins back, only the share of those original rentals is reversed, once. Earnings from other works are not affected.
If the Company stops offering a work for its own reasons without fault by the Creator, rentals already made are settled as usual even if users get their Coins back.
Creators can see viewing, rental and earnings data for their works in Creator Center and may share their own data freely. They do not disclose information about other creators or users, or the Company's non-public information.
On request, the Company provides the basis of settlement, such as rentals per work and episode and the amount of each deduction.
A Creator may dispute a settlement statement within 60 days of receiving it, and the Company replies within 30 days.
