Watching episodes

How to use the player, subtitles, continue watching, and autoplay of the next episode.

Watch screen

Tap an episode to open the watch screen. On a wide screen, the player is on the left, the episode list is on the right, and episode details and comments are below. You can sort the list by Latest first / From episode 1.

Autoplay next episode

When an episode ends, the next episode starts playing after 5 seconds. You can stop it with Cancel autoplay, or turn off Autoplay next episode in Playback settings.

If the next episode is paid, it is not rented automatically. You are asked to confirm first. See Coins and paid episodes.

Subtitles

For episodes with published subtitles, open Playback settings, turn on Subtitles, and choose a Language and Text size (Small/Medium/Large). Subtitles work in regular and full-screen playback on the web and current app versions that include subtitles.

Only languages available for that episode appear: English, Korean, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Portuguese or Spanish. Your language, size and on/off preference are saved on your device.

Continue watching

When you watch while signed in, your progress is saved. You can reopen episodes you were watching from Continue watching on Home and Continue watching in My collection.

Trailers and specials

  • The trailer sits at the top of a series' episodes and is always free. Play episode 1 starts from Episode 1, not the trailer.
  • Specials (behind the scenes, side stories and more) are under Episodes > Specials on the series page and are free.

If a video will not play

On the watch screen, use Report a playback problem, choose the type of problem (Buffering & loading, Audio & video, Another issue), and let us know. You need to sign in, and your report is filed as a Support request.
